IMPORTANT FACTS

Intensive Agriculture - Look to the places I produce my honey and TRY to find somewhere in the map intensive agriculture near. South Portugal itself is all natural.

Bees travel 3 miles around a hive

Hard work - it is IMPOSSIBLE to exist only ONE flower specie in 3 miles perimeter. So 100% monofloral honey is a myth. You can have high percentage of nectar in relation with others.

Massive Production

Big Producers, Big Machines - When I worked for BIG producer with thousand of hives, they want massive production, fast response in work because each minute is money in their accounting.

Crystalized honey means it is pure

Bee work period - Each flower nectar as a molecular composition of crystals. Depending on the main flower in the honey composition, it can become hard, as water evaporates with time, sooner or faster. For example Citrus, orange flower honey become hard in less than 6 month. Rosmarinus 3 to 5 years. so when it keeps liquid, it means it has been boiled over 180 degrees to brake the chain of crystals. Not good!

I DRY MY POLLEN UNDER THE SUN IN NARUTAL WAY, no rush. Producers use machines and it becomes to rigid and and crunchy. It has to be soft inside to be natural.

My teas are also dryied under the sun — You can tell the difference with the shape of leaves.

Bees always respect each other and only fight with invasors that want to destroy their civilization. Now see humans!
